Pass plan · Mobbin references (web)
Web-only patterns for a fixed-duration pass: full plan access for X days, one payment, no auto-renewal. Two families: plans sold by fixed length, and one-time purchases that expire instead of renewing.
A · Plans sold by fixed duration
B · One-time purchases that expire (no renewal)
What to steal for our 7-day pass
- Name the duration in the product (Hims 8-week plan, NordVPN length-first): "7-day pass" as the tier name, not "trial" or "short plan".
- Total price for the window, charged once (Wix, Hims): one number, no per-day math, no "/mo".
- Cadence label right next to the price (GitHub "one time"): the non-renewing nature is part of the price line itself.
- Expiry stated plainly near the CTA (Midjourney, Upwork): say when it ends and that nothing is charged after.
- Sell it beside the plans (Open, GitHub): the pass is a card or row next to Pro, with an upgrade path when it ends.
