Monthly and weekly plans: every scenario, with links

Close flow, Plan and billing, Change plan, dashboard, editor, mobile and emails. Every screen is built on an existing proto. Change plan opens the Manage your plan screen: plans on the left, one-click payment on the right.

NewMonthly plans. Pro monthly and Gold monthly change in place: starts today, unused credits carry over.
NewWeekly is separate. No Change plan. The user buys a new plan at full price, and the weekly plan runs out without renewing.
NewChange plan. Every path through the Manage your plan screen, including team plans.
UpdatedNo 7-day trial. The trial states and steps are gone. The 20% cancel offer is yearly only.
NewDashboard, editor, pricing page, mobile, emails. Failed payments, weekly ending, App Store weekly, the yearly nudge, invites, out of credits, export, close flow and the public pricing page.

Copy only. There is no email design in the repo to build on.

Plan changedSubject: You’re on Gold yearly. We added 50,000 credits to Scaling Operations, plus the 620 you hadn’t used. You paid $1,200 today and your plan renews on Oct 30, 2027. View invoice.

New plan bought from weeklySubject: You’re on Pro monthly. Your weekly plan won’t renew and runs to Nov 3. App Store variant: Your weekly plan is billed by the App Store. Cancel it there so you’re not charged for both.

Receipt, monthly or weeklySubject: Your Pro monthly receipt. We received $25. 1,000 credits are in your workspace and unused credits carry over. Next payment Nov 29.

Payment failed (day 0, 3 and 6)Subject: We couldn’t renew Pro monthly. Your card ending 4242 was declined. Update it by Nov 6 to keep Pro. Your decks stay saved either way.

Moved to Free after the grace periodSubject: Your workspace is on Free now. We couldn’t take payment, so Pro features are off. Your decks are saved. Update your card to get Pro back.

Still to decide To decide

Product decisions. The protos use the default noted in each.

Monthly gives more credits than yearlyPro monthly is 1,000 a month (12,000 a year) against 5,000 on Pro yearly; Gold monthly is 60,000 a year against 50,000. So "save $60 a year" also means 7,000 fewer credits. The monthly credit numbers (from the app fallbacks) need fixing, or yearly needs more credits.

Weekly is cheaper per credit than yearlyWeekly is about $0.030 a credit, yearly $0.048. The mobile paywall no longer claims a saving on yearly. Raise the weekly price, or keep it as is on purpose.

No proration on monthlyFull price for the new plan, unused credits carry over, unused days are lost. The app (Chargebee) shows a "Pro rate" credit today. Pick one.

Weekly credits after the week endsKeep them or drop them when the weekly plan runs out? The protos keep them during the week and show Free credits after.

Credit packs for weekly usersZero credits offers a pack to weekly users. Sell packs on weekly, or only point to monthly?

DowngradesGold to Pro, yearly to monthly, team to individual are not offered. Today: cancel renewal, then buy the smaller plan after the end date.

Seats on monthly and weeklyIndividual plans are one seat. Inviting a teammate should point to Pro Team or Gold Team. Confirm.

Renew earlymanage-plan lets yearly users renew early by picking the current plan. v2 shows the current plan without a radio. Keep renew early for yearly?

20% renewal discount plus an upgradeDoes the discount carry to the new plan?

GETGOLD couponThe app applies it when Pro moves to Gold. Does Pro monthly to Gold get it?

Team: buy more credits, Pro Team to Gold Teampricing-rules.md allows both; the Team billing page has no button.

Expired monthly or weeklyRenew now gives returning subscribers 20% off. Same for monthly and weekly?

RefundsWindow and rule, for example a weekly user who buys yearly by mistake.

Seven Day Pass or weekly in the close flowBoth versions are built. Pick one: default is the pass, ?pass=weekly sells Pro weekly.

Public pricing page catalogv8 had Gold at $600 and 15,000 credits and Team at $600 for 20,000. The v2 page uses pricing-rules.md (Gold $1,200 / 50,000, Pro Team from $648). Confirm, and decide if Gold Team gets its own card.

PDF exportNo proto has a PDF export entry yet, so there is nothing to build on. Paid plans include it; the screen needs a base first.

Old prices in the free editor pathThe editor fork embeds the 7-day-trial-v6 plan picker and checkout as they are: Pro $20/mo, Gold $50/mo (15,000 credits), Gold $600 for 25,000. Update them to the pricing-rules.md catalog.
